Please read these OPENLANE SMS/Text Terms and Conditions carefully. By providing your telephone number(s) and accepting SMS/text messages from OPENLANE, you expressly consent to receive recurring transactional and/or marketing and/or conversational messages, via electronic and/or digital means, including any such messages made from an automatic dialing system, from OPENLANE as more specifically set forth below. Your consent is not required to purchase any goods or services. You may also opt out of this messaging at any time. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency will vary.

    OPENLANE’S SHORT CODE 81929

    By opting in to messaging from OPENLANE’s short code 81929, you expressly consent to the following:

    OPENLANE Alerts

    You expressly consent to receive recurring SMS/text messages that may be sent using an automated telephone dialing system from OPENLANE (or its service providers on behalf of OPENLANE). Messaging includes the following types of messages based on the boxes you have expressly selected: (i) recurring personalized automated account activity messages; and/or (ii) marketing messages, at the phone number(s) you provided.

    Automated Account Activity Messages (from the 81929 short code)

    Users opting in to receive recurring personalized automated account activity messages will receive SMS/text messages related to but not limited to the following:

    • Any activity on the OPENLANE platform that affects their account;

    • An offer submitted by a user on the OPENLANE platform that receives a response;

    • Vehicles on their watchlist that change in price or status;

    • An offer they have received; or

    • Notice that one of their vehicles has sold.

    Marketing Text Messages: (from the 81929 short code)

    Additionally, users can opt-in to receive automated marketing SMS/text messages related to but not limited to the following:

    • Current business promotions (buy fee promotions, etc.);

    • Alerts and updates regarding new OPENLANE features; or

    • General alerts and/or updates regarding OPENLANE’s business and/or services.

    You may cancel SMS/text messaging from OPENLANE’s short code 81929 at any time:

    Cancelling Automated Account Activity Messages (from the 81929 short code)

    • To unsubscribe: Text "STOP" to the short code 81929. After replying "STOP,” we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive automated account activity messages from OPENLANE’s short code 81929.

    • To re-subscribe: To opt back into Account Activity messages, login to your OPENLANE Account, navigate to Settings > Notifications, and adjust your notification preferences accordingly.

    Cancelling Marketing Text Messages (from the 81929 short code)

    • To unsubscribe: Text "STOP" to the short code 81929. After replying "STOP,” we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive marketing messages from OPENLANE’s short code 81929.

    • To re-subscribe: To opt back into Marketing messages, text “YES” to the short code 81929.

    OPENLANE’S TEN-DIGIT PHONE NUMBERS

    In addition to OPENLANE’s short code 81929, OPENLANE representatives may communicate with you via any one of OPENLANE’s ten-digit phone numbers or “10DLCs”. By opting in to messaging from OPENLANE’s 10DLCs, you expressly consent to the following:

    OPENLANE Alerts

    You expressly consent to receive recurring SMS/text messages that may be sent using an automated telephone dialing system from OPENLANE (or its service providers on behalf of OPENLANE). Messaging includes the following types of messages: (i) recurring personalized automated account activity messages; and/or (ii) and/or one-on-one conversational customer support, at the phone number(s) you provided.

    Automated Account Activity Messages

    Users opting in to receive recurring personalized automated account activity messages will receive SMS/text messages related to but not limited to the following:

    • Any activity on the OPENLANE platform that affects their account;

    • An offer submitted by a user on the OPENLANE platform that receives a response;

    • Vehicles on their watchlist that change in price or status;

    • An offer they have received; or

    • Notice that one of their vehicles has sold.

    Conversational Customer Support Messages

    Users opting in to receive conversational customer support messages will receive SMS/text messages related to but not limited to the following:

    • Important time-sensitive information regarding a user’s OPENLANE account and/or profile;

    • Answers pertaining to user issues, concerns, and/or questions; or

    • Assistance with deal-working directly with participating dealerships.

    You may cancel SMS/text messaging from OPENLANE’s ten-digit phone numbers at any time:

    Cancelling Automated Account Activity Messages and Customer Support Messages (from the ten-digit phone numbers)

    • To unsubscribe: Text "STOP" to the 10DLC (ten-digit phone number) you are receiving messages from. After replying "STOP,” we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from OPENLANE’s ten-digit phone numbers.

    • To re-subscribe: To opt back into Customer Support messages, text “START” to the 10 DLC (ten-digit phone number) you were messaging with prior.

    Neither the carrier(s) nor OPENLANE is liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
